Outlaw has become an indispensable tool for streamlining the review and execution of contracts with medical facilities, saving users a significant amount of time. It is particularly useful in sales and legal departments, where it allows for end-to-end operations of contracts. Users can create templates for standard agreements and customize fields based on the client they are sending the contract to. This flexibility extends to various purposes, including employment contracts, business contracting, and credit applications. With multiple users utilizing Outlaw on a daily basis, it serves as a central platform for both internal and external contracts and letters. Its collaborative features simplify the process of collaborating on contracts and sharing them with clients. One standout feature is its automatic generation of variables, ensuring that sales and customer success representatives stay on track without the need for manual adjustments in word documents. Additionally, Outlaw captures redlines efficiently, speeding up the process of redlining contracts with clients and ultimately leading to faster deal closures. It has been especially valuable in digitizing the contract process for MacBook users who lack access to Microsoft Word. Outlaw also allows organizations to create standardized contract templates across departments, ensuring consistency across different projects. Furthermore, it offers easy editing capabilities for clients through shared links, particularly beneficial for template documents. While there have been some issues with exporting finalized documents, customers have reported positive experiences with responsive and helpful customer support. The onboarding training provided by Outlaw has proven beneficial for users as well. Overall, Outlaw's user-friendly features and its ability to streamline contract processes have made it a valuable asset in various industries.

Users commonly recommend the following when using Outlaw:

  1. Make Outlaw seamless for non-technical users: Users recommend ensuring that Outlaw is user-friendly and easy to navigate, especially for individuals who are not technically inclined. This will help streamline the contract management process and make it accessible to a wider range of users.

  2. Deploy Outlaw integration as soon as possible: Users suggest integrating Outlaw into their existing systems and processes as soon as possible. By doing so, businesses can maximize the benefits of using Outlaw for contract management and improve efficiency across the organization.

  3. Ensure contract finalization before uploading to Outlaw: Users emphasize the importance of finalizing contracts before uploading them to Outlaw. This ensures that all necessary changes and revisions are made, and prevents any confusion or errors during the contract management process.

Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

It is being used across the whole organization but mainly through the sales and legal departments. We use it for all our agreements from sales, to referrals, to mutual NDAs. It allows us to create templates to use for our standard agreements within our company which is nice. It also allows the fields to be edited to make sure its custom to the client we are sending it to.
  • Templates. This allows us to create one document and just edit the contact details.
  • Simplicity. It's easy to use.
  • Tracking. We can see who did what when and who has viewed it.
  • Address book. This is a top priority for us. The fact that when we send our agreements, we have to have multiple screens open to copy and paste contact information is cumbersome.
  • Reminders. If I have sent a contact, I would love to receive an auto email telling me the client has viewed it, hasn't viewed it, etc.
  • PDF upload for signature. It should be easier. Upload PDF, select signature spot, and send.
Functionality is better than not having it. I can create our 4 documents, within a half hour, by simply using templates. If I had the address book function, it would be even shorter, I say 5-10 mins. That is time that I would love to have back, especially if I'm sending 5 sets out a day. That's an hour I get back to do other things.

  • Faster contract process. Our process is smoother and faster then it ever was before.
  • Employee efficiency. The process is quicker and has saved time, but I think there are more ways to save even more.
Outlaw allows us to store templates, easy to use and edit, collaborate internally and externally, and send right from Outlaw in a simple, easy, platform. I think there is still improvements needed - search function, address book, are the two main ones that would make this a show stopper platform.
The way it is now is fine, but I don't want a product that is fine. I wan't a product that is great. For it to become great, it needs better search capabilities, an address book function, and auto reminders throughout the process.
Our Customer Service rep is responsive but the support we need is for the functions it doesn't have.

Outlaw is used to create standardized contract templates for our staff and consultants. We are working on creating more templates for vendors and grantees of different types. Only a select few use Outlaw. There are specific people in each department that have access. I work on the programs team, creating contracts for the individual consultants we hire on our projects, but the HR department, for example, uses Outlaw to hire people on standard full-time employee contracts. This has helped maintain consistency between our contracts no matter what the project is.
  • Easy to use from the contracting side.
  • Ability to create a template that fits are needs exactly how we want.
  • Easy to connect the consultant with the contract via link or email.
  • I'd like to be able to have a list of consultants/vendors we've used before, like a contact list. Then if we have a contract with someone we've worked with before (which is often the case), it pulls all their information automatically. We don't have to add all their personal information, banking, etc. again.
  • Checkpoint reminders or checkpoint 'read receipts.'
Outlaw is well suited for the situations I describe below with staff and consultants. However, we work with a lot of consultants abroad who don't have easy access to internet, email addresses, etc. In those cases, we need to create the contract in Outlaw, download the PDF, send it to our field team, have them get the consultant to sign it, send it back, re-upload it into Outlaw, and then manually add a slot for our Vice President to sign. He then has to save a final copy. Because we have to use the same process to remain compliant, it becomes a little bit round-a-bout. I'm not sure if it's possible to fix that.

  • Positive - consistency in our contracting systems.
  • Negative - we don't all have accounts, so we rely on a select few people to get things done and cannot monitor the status of the contract ourselves.
I did not select Outlaw.
Outlaw is a great system to use and I think a few small improvements (creating a consultant/vendor list, allowing more people to have accounts without a significant jump in price, etc.) could get it to a 10.
Every interaction I've was quick and thorough.
